How long will the claim take?
A straightforward accident can be settled within three months, whilst cases involving more serious injuries may take longer. On studying your case, our solicitors will provide an estimated timeframe and keep you updated as the case progresses.
How do I know if I have a genuine claim?
We assess each claim individually and only proceed if your claim is genuine. Our advisers are happy to discuss your case free of charge, with no obligation.
Do I have to travel to my solicitor's office?
We strive to make things as easy as possible for our clients. We have the option of office visits, but we’ll also happily deal with your claim via telephone, email or mail.
How much compensation can I expect?
This will depend on an independent medical report and the nature of your injuries. Once we recieve the medical report our solicitors will inform you on what you can expect.

Does it matter how long ago the accident happened?
Generally, you have three years to make a claim. However, we urge clients to submit their claims as soon as possible to ensure injuries are accurately recorded.
Is there a penalty if I withdraw my claim early?
If your claim is unlikely to succeed our lawyers will advise you to withdraw your claim without any cost to you. However, if you decide not to proceed for some other reason, you may be billed for all charges incurred on your behalf.
Will I have to attend a medical examination?
Where required, we’ll book your medical examination with an independent doctor. This appointment will be local to you, and based around your availability. Travel expenses can also be claimed.
Will Simple Claims ask me to sign up to any form of loan?
No.
Will I need to go to court?
Very few cases end up in court as solicitors are encouraged to settle cases without the need for a trial. if it is required, we will explain the process and provisde you with the support you need. However, if our solicitors think it’s in your best interest they will do their very best to reach a settlement without a trial.
